Ron started working for Gothic 50 years ago when his father used to wake his sons up at 4:00 a.m. on a Saturday or during the summer to help him with landscape jobs. Ron’s first job with Gothic was to operate the machine which cut and threaded the galvanized sprinkler system pipes, which pre-dated the use of plastic. After a 19-year career in the manufacturing industry, Ron rejoined Gothic as the President of Gothic Grounds Management in 1998. Ron’s primary responsibility is guiding the long-term strategic planning of the company to ensure that GGM is strong and dynamic for another generation. In his free time, Ron is an avid poker player and has owned race horses periodically over the last several years. He’s also an animal lover and enjoys swimming and spending time with his dogs. Ron has attended the University of Houston and has earned a certificate in “Mergers and Acquisitions” from UCLA. He draws inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi and from his quote, “You must be the change you expect to see in the world.”
