    Coyote Springs - Nevada

    This project was a 43,000 acre master-planned community in the Mojave Desert. By harvesting native plant material prior to the community development, Gothic, and other firms, were able to effectively reintroduce native soil and plants back into the landscape, creating a natural desert environment.

    CACTUS WREN TRAIL, NEVADA

    For this expansive project, Gothic was able to recycle the salt and pepper rock-spoils generated from mass grading of the trail through a process of screening and washing. A desert varnish patina was then applied to return the trail’s natural desert appearance.

    Corn Creek Wildlife Refuge – Nevada

    This project was a prototype pond filtration system for the Corn Creek Wildlife Refuge. Gothic was responsible for building this unique aquatic filtration system to facilitate the breakdown of biological and organic waste products, thus guaranteeing a clean outflow of water to surrounding plant material.

    BLUE DIAMOND WASH, NEVADA

    With a unique challenge to meet requirements by the military to develop an erosion-controlled environment for a 100-year flood event, Gothic was able to effectively implement a trail system to stabilize erosion through the positioning of rock materials controlling natural water flow.

    WETLANDS PARK, NEVADA

    With the challenge of preserving a community of nesting birds, Gothic was able to restore this unique wetlands riparian habitat through a host of applications with a high degree of technical and biological sensitivity: draining of ponds, herbicide, tamarisk removal, aquatic planting, and desert restoration.

    EIPT Transmission Line

    This 35 mile Southern California Edison transmission line stretches from the El Dorado Valley in Nevada to Ivanpah, California. Gothic was responsible for the salvage and restoration of native plant material using our custom-designed native seed imprinter.
