SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Gothic Landscape has announced that Nada Duna, a 29-year veteran of BrightView Landscape (formerly ValleyCrest Companies), has joined the company’s maintenance division as chief operating officer, effective immediately. 

Nicholas DePasquale, currently vice president of the maintenance division, has been promoted to executive vice president. He will continue to be responsible for the division’s current 10 regional and branch teams.

Since graduating from college in 1992, I have worked exclusively in the commercial landscape industry, including for some of the largest national companies in North America. I’m often asked, “What makes Gothic different?” The answer is found in Gothic’s unique company culture. While there are distinct advantages in working for the largest, national landscape companies and also for small, local companies, in my opinion Gothic combines the best of both worlds.

It is estimated that 80% of landscape problems result from improper irrigation. Examples of improper irrigation are uneven distribution uniformity, improperly working heads, improper watering times, malfunctioning valves, cracks and leaks in the lines and mismatched heads.
